Best Practice and Implementation

One of the key weaknesses in the chain of custody for a sample is at the point of collection: in a recent case the donor's doctor was asked to take the sample but did not realise the person in front of him was not the person that she claimed to be. The subsequent test that was carried out on the sample was therefore invalidated. TrichoTech provides collectors who are trained in the strictest chain of custody methods (including the requirements for identification that the donor is genuine) and in cutting a lock of hair sufficient for analysis. We charge for this service but it has rapidly become the option of choice for many of our clients as it guarantees an efficient, quick and reliable outcome. More on sample collection

Seminars on Drug Testing

We provide training and information seminars to lawyers, clerks, judges, social care services and other professionals in child protection and family casework that outline and explain the strengths and - just as importantly - the limitations of drug-testing. Recent seminars took place in Sheffield, Manchester, Harrogate, Cardiff, Glasgow and London and all received high commendations and very positive feedback. These seminars are non-commercial.

If you are involved with a Family Court Forum, a Lawyers group or social care/services organisation and would like to book a seminar or presentation please contact our team on 029 2054 7084 or email sales@tricho-tech.co.uk.
