Case Study 1

Recruitment testing can save tens of thousands of pounds
This client, a major police force, switched from using urine testing for both recruitment and for transfers of officers into sensitive posts such as firearms or child protection duties. A candidate passed a urine test but 2 years down the line on completion of their probation the officer failed a further drugs test for a Class A drug and has since admitted use from before his employment with the Force. Police training costs can be over £100,000 and have far outweighed the additional charges that the hair test programme cost for the recruits. Hair testing at the pre-employment stage significantly reduces the risk of introducing a drug concern into an organisation. Contact us for more details
