Sample Collection Service
One of the most frequently challenged aspects of a drug test is the collection
method which can often be the weakest link in the chain of custody. We
offer a secure, speedy, and convenient service by our experienced UK-wide
network of sample collectors. They are trained in-house by a former manager
of the Royal Navy Mandatory Drug Testing Programme. A friendly and reliable
service, they guarantee correct sample collection, observing strict chain
of custody procedures that safeguard the integrity of the sample. This
provides peace of mind for the client, with TrichoTech overseeing the
process from collection to the provision of results. The result will be confirmed in writing.
The TrichoTest® Hair Analysis
At TrichoTech we are able to manage a hair analysis from start to finish.
Once you agree to the quotation for the test, we are able to dispatch
a qualified TrichoTech collector to a designated location at an appointed
time. Our collector is then able to take the hair sample, meeting the
stringent chain of custody requirements. In
10 working days (from the receipt of the sample), our team of toxicologists are able to determine the presence
of any illicit substances you have requested that we test the sample for.
The result will be confirmed in writing, and will stand up to any legal
scrutiny.
Clients can also collect samples from the donors themselves or via the
donor's GP, although where the test results may be required for court
proceedings we strongly recommend you use our trained collector's service.

Collections Sample Collection Centre
We have recently opened a drop in sample collection centre in
Manchester. The centre is available for clients to book appointments
between the hours of 9am and 1pm every Friday. Hair, blood and oral
fluid samples can be collected by our professionally trained team of
sample collectors, without the need to wait for an appointment with
a GP. The service will be especially convenient for donors who are required
to provide both blood and hair samples for our package of alcohol tests,
where a trained sample collector and phlebotomist will be able to take
both samples. Using our collections service will ensure that the sample
is taken correctly and that a strict chain of custody is adhered to
in order for the sample collection to be legally defensible.
